Rockwool Granulate is used as a Cymbidium growing medium. It is made from Basalt rock. The rock is melted at 1600°C and spun to form a cotton candy like wool. It is then compressed into bales.
Due to the manufacturing process of Rockwool it is chemically and biologically inert and creates the ideal growing medium for hydroponics. The granulate has extremely good water absorbing qualities, and when used with a fertilizer it makes for perfect Cymbidium growing conditions.
- This is used alone for the growing of Cymbidiums and no need to mix any other mediums with.
- One of the best Cymbidium Orchid growing medium available
